Tobacco free India Campaign Flag Off At Bangalore

Tobacco Free India campaign organized by Narain Sewa Sansthan partner with Indian Dental   Association. Flag off ceremony of tobacco free India which held at ACS convention centre Mysore road. In this function  Padmashri  Anil Kumble  Former Indian cricket Captain  was the chief guest , Dr George  Thomas  President  IDA was guest of honour  , Dr. C R Ramchandran  Chair Person Tobacco free india   , Mr. Manoj Kumar Sinha  President Narain sewa sansthan , Dr. Somil Rastogi- WHO consultant,      Dr. V. Raju, DME (Govt. of Karnataka) , Dr. Padma. K Bhat ,an a team of doctors from various dental colleges of Bangalore were part of the flag off ceremony and more than 1500 people  were  present in  Tobacco free India Campaign  flag off . Two doctor  Dr. Sachin Sinha  secretary  Narain Sewa Sansthan  & Chief  Co-ordinator  of Tobacco Free India  Campaign  & Dr Joby Peter  Sectary  kerala  Branch  Narain Sewa Sansthan moving in  1 car  , covering  13 state ,  45 centres , more than 9000 kms , in 37 days, to  spread the message “Choose Life not Tobacco”.

Mr .Anil Kumble advise people not to use tobacco and wish for the success of this tobacco free India campaign and  appreciated  Narain Sewa  Sansthan for their   work .  Dr. George Thomas  told the ill effect of regular use of  tobacco product, and  in  future  IDA &  Narain Sewa Sansthan  will work together   and he also  Wish Dr sachin & Dr Joby Peter  for the  success of the campaign .                           Dr.  Sachin Sinha administrative Anti Tobacco Oath to the participant present on the function.

This initiative is taken up by Narain Sewa Sansthan under the able leadership & guidance of Dr. Ashok. Dhoble, Hon. Secretary General, IDA. In these campaign documentary films about the ill effects of tobacco use, consultations, public educations, parent guidance and education of tobacco use, distribution of pamphlets regarding the harmful effects of tobacco use and questioner etc are arranged with this programme.

The campaign vehicle proceeded from Bangalore towards Tamil Nadu and will cover Pondicherry and so on.

Tobacco Free india campaign 2012 in Cochin (Kerala)

Tobacco Free India campaign organized by Narain Sewa Sansthan partner with Indian Dental   Association. In this campaign   1 car , 2 Doctor, 13 state more then 9000Km, 37 days traveling by road  to create awareness  among the people .Tobacco Free India campaign  Started on 24th 2012 from  Earnakulam  Kerala . 

Kerala State Secretary  Dr. Joby  Peter stared the journey from Earnakulam . Chief Guest was  Mr.Anwar Sahadat  MLA , Earnakulam , Kerala, and Mr.M .J Joseph  Asst Excise Commissioner, Earnakulam, Kerala . Dr. Binu T Abraham (Joint secretary Kerala ) Narain Sewa sansthan advise people not to use tobacco and wish for the success of this tobacco free India campaign.

MEGA HEALTH CAMP WAS CONDUCTED

MEGA HEALTH CAMP WAS CONDUCTED IN R. V KANNADA AND ENGLISH MEDIUM HIGH SCHOOL , PEENYA today BY NARAIN SEWA SANSTHAN AS A PART OF TOBACCO FREE INDIA CAMPAIGN WITH THE COLLABORATION of  Indian Dental association, BANGALORE branch. AROUND 410 people (including students & teachers) WERE BENEFITED UNDER THIS PROGRAMME. 10 CHILDREN (10-14) Yrs DETECTED WITH INCREASED HEART RATE, 20 CHILDREN WERE FOUND Anaemic AND 2 CHILDREN WITH RESPIRATORY DISORDER (AS REPORTED BY DR. ROWENA M ASIRVATHAM from Appolo Hospital).

A DOCUMENTARY FILM WAS SHOWN TO STUDENTS TO CREATE AWARENESS REGARDING HARMFUL EFFECTS OF TOBACCO & C.D OF THE SAME WAS DONATED TO SCHOOL BY MEMBERS OF NARAIN SEWA SANSTHAN AND PRINTED MATERIAL WAS DISTRIBUTED AMONG STUDENTS. Mr. RAVI PRAKASH (CO-COORDINATOR N.T.C.P, GOVT OF KARNATAKA) EDUCATED STUDENTS REGARDING HARMFUL EFFECT OF TOBACCO AND ADVISED THEM TO CREATE THIS AWARENESS AMONG Their PARENTS.

Oral & DENTAL HEALTH CHECK UP CAMP WAS ORGANISED BY DEPT OF PUBLIC HEALTH DENTISTRY RAJARAJESWARI DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, Dr. Sachin Sinha ,secretary of Narain sewa sansthan educated the teachers of school regarding the ill effects of Tobacco in various forms, & advised the teachers to teach the students & their parents about the same in parents teachers meeting , that will acts as follow up of progamme , this is to inform you that Narain sewa sansthan in partnership with Indian Dental Association is going for 
                                                          " Tobacco Free india campaign by road ,covering 13 states , more than 9000km, without any back up vehicle to create awareness about Tobacco harmful effects , smoke & pollution."

 Flag off ceremony of this all india campaign is on 25th jan 2012, venue Rajarajeswari Medical  college at 10.30 am. Dr. Sachin Sinha & Dr. Joby Peter is moving in 1 vehicle through out India to create awareness

Narain Sewa Sansthan In Partnership With Indian Dental Association (H.O) started the activities of  Tobacco Free India Campaign at bangalore .

Camp organised At Mount Carmel Primary & Higher School at Pennaya. In this camp 415 students of this School got free Health Checkup which includes General Body Checkup, Eyes, Oral & Dental , skin checkup.During the camp it was found that  most of the students having worm problem because of intake of impure water in their day to day life. Students aged group between 10- 14 years having severe dental problem because of mixed Dentition period & lack of awareness regarding brushing technique methods & materials to be used . 45% of students having vision related problem due to insufficient intake of vitamins in their food, & Metrolifestyle( Pollution). On this occasion,  students of primary & higher secondary created awareness regarding Tobacco Ill Effects by holding the plug kards demonstrating the warning of Bad face of Tobacco in their locality. Documetary film  was shown to the parents to create awareness .

On this event Dr. Sachin Sinha ,Dr. Jaykanth, Dr Usha R, Dr. Remy Mathew, Dr Jyotsana Reddy, Mrs.Birender Kaur, Mr Jasvender Singh & others were there.

Blood Donation Camp - Donate Blood , Save Life

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti ,Narain Sewa Sansthan organised Blood checkup & Donation camp in association with

 Indian Dental Association & National Medicos organisation with the support of Rashtrottanna Blood Bank in the Premises 

of NIAM College of Management Studies,Jayanagar 7th Block, Bangalore.

Students & Staff of NIAM College actively participated in this voluntary Blood Donation Camp.

 

The Awareness regarding  Blood & its disorders , importance of Iron supplements was created by Doctors through Educational Programme amongst the students & staffs.

 

In the camp, during the check up it is found that 40% of the females who came for donating Blood having less haemoglobin percentage due to Metro lifestyle , Sleepless Night & Improper Diet.

 The certificate of Participation was distributed to the Volunteers for Donating Blood.

Annual general meet of Narain Sewa Sansthan

Annual general meet of Narain Sewa Sansthan (R) took place at N.I.A.M management college, jayanagar Bangalore, Members of Sansthan from different states of India participated in this meeting.

In this meeting , work done by members at Kerala, Andhra pradesh, Tamil nadu, Bihar, Karnataka states were shown. on this occasion vice President (NATIONAL) of Sansthan Dr C R Ramachandran made a statement to make India free from tobacco and that we can achieve only by educating and creating awareness about ill effects of tobacco in various forms through education.
Dr Sachin Sinha , Secretery general of sansthan announced regarding the establishment of 16 tobacco de-addiction centers all over southern states where the people will get free consultation, check up and counseling. on this occasion Dr Joby peter President kerala branch and Dr A M Suresh President karnataka branch requested all the members of the sansthan to conduct screening and educational  camps at various levels of the society (focusing more on rural areas , schools and colleges).
